Woodland Toddler Group

Our Woodland Parent and Toddler Group runs every Monday morning between 09:30 and 11:30. It runs all year round, including during school holidays and in all weathers (apart from in extreme conditions!). We meet at the front of the Miners Coffee Shop in Pensford.

The walk does involve negotiating kissing gates so is not suitable for pushchairs, if you have little ones, a sling or carrier is recommended. Our Toddler Group is set entirely outdoors and although we do have suitable shelter systems in place, please do wrap up warm and be prepared to get a little muddy! It costs £5 per child (adults free). Refreshments and a snack are included. At least one adult must remain with their child for the duration (but more than one adult is welcome!). No need to book ahead, you are welcome to turn up on an ad-hoc basis. Parking is not great around the coffee shop, so if you are struggling to find a space, you can park in the Memorial Hall Car Park on Publow Lane. The group is suitable for children aged 1-5. Our toddler group is based on the principles of Forest School and sessions are child led. As a result, we have activity stations for the children to explore and discover
